Temple is only worth going for if you are going to cosmic ocean AND have a jetpack. On the other hand, I think the choice between temple and tide pool is way too unbalanced and might need a bit of fixing(funny how skips have to be acknowledged inside of the game’s balance). I do wish the modding community was similar to the Binding of Isaac’s, as they sometimes create mods that add even more content than most DLCs and it’s just a blast to experience.Īlthough spelunky 2 is all about balance and carefully crafted game design, so adding dlc will just take so much work… you can’t just slap new content and call it a day with spelunky… I think when that happens the game will probably be reinvigorated.
